The Produced Water Reinjection Operational Network is the upstream oil and gas operator network dedicated to finding solutions to the operational issues within the Produced Water Re-Injection system.

The PWRI OPNet holds two meetings per year where a number of challenges facing the industry are discussed. These include, but are not restricted to, maintaining or achieving PWRI under matrix and fracture conditions, black sticky stuff (BSS) and schmoo, reservoir souring, water quality monitoring and managing high water cuts.
